Roys Peak (Return trip)

Enjoy a scenic tuk tuk transfer from Wānaka town centre to the Roys Peak car park and back again after your hike. This return service is available any time of day, and is especially popular in the early morning for hikers aiming to reach the summit in time for sunrise over Lake Wānaka.

For bookings of more than three passengers, we’ll use our 4WD Skoda or 11-seater passenger van, as our tuk tuks have a maximum capacity of three passengers.

The price covers the whole booking, whether you’re travelling solo or with up to two friends. We’ll pick you up from a central Wānaka location, drop you at the trailhead, and arrange a return pick up time that suits your pace. Sit back and enjoy the views both ways before and after one of New Zealand’s most iconic hikes.

For group bookings, everyone must travel together. This means one pickup from the same address and returning together after your hike. If separate trips or staggered pickups or drop offs are needed, an additional $35 per extra trip will apply.

Please note: the Roys Peak Track is closed for lambing season from 30 September to 10 November, but you can still pre-book your trip for dates after it reopens.
